About

I’m Diego Hauenstein (b. 1989), a Swiss-German film director based in Berlin, having recently graduated in Feature Directing at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.

Originating from an artistic family – my dad is a clown, and my mother soon joined him, running away with the circus – a career in the creative industry was never a matter of choice or privilege; I pursued my calling with a healthy dosage of preordained expectations and pressure. I am currently working on a whole bunch of feature film screenplays, hoping at least one will get funded. Wish us luck. Or give us your money! I speak English, French, Spanish, and German. I take Euro or Swiss Francs.
